Finally
The Unhidden Realm poetry book is launched!
This lovely dark poetry book is written by my talented friend Novenia
and she asked me to draw some illustrations for her beautiful poems!
What an honor!

I also designed the book cover and back cover and the layout as well.

This self-published book has 48 dark poems
About darkest feelings that sometimes we feel it too
that's why i really like this book, cos i feel connected to most of the poems.

The poems are beautifully written, with some mythical spices here and there
So it's not just about darkness, despair and all of those negativity
it's more about the beautiful of darkness
the more you read them, the more you love them

I love all of the poems there, but my most favorite are
Ode to the Moon, Red and The Signature

my first tattoo!
it was made by the brilliant tattoo-artist, who's also a friend of mine, Mulie,
owner Thinking Tree Tattoo Studio.

My tattoo was designed and done by Mulie.
I chose to have Nekomata on my back, and Mulie did it so well. It has every element that i like; black cat, black crow's wings, skull and fire. Awesome!

it took 3 hours to finish this Nekomata.
I thought it would hurt real bad, but actually it's not that bad.
And I was really lucky to have my ghost next to me.
She really helped me in keeping eye of Rory!

Me and my ljubi Ochie were models for one day thanks to
my hubby Iyan and my Cherry Ocha!
We had photoshoot in Rumah Akar, Kota Tua last Sunday
and had great time together.
Mr Demomo was there too!

Last month, me, my hubby and Rory went to Ubud, Bali.
My Ljubi recommended SunnyBlow Villa Jepun, so we stayed there for 4 days.
It's located in Jalan Sanggingan, so it's quite near to Ubud Market.

The room rates are:
The Deluxe bedroom: Rp. 700,000 ++ / night including breakfast.
Standard bedroom: Rp. 400,000 ++ / night including breakfast.

Sunnyblow is a nice, cozy, modest place. It's a nice place to relax. The bungalows are surrounded by many green and flowery plants, bugs, and birds so it makes you feel like you are inside a forest. There are 8 bungalows, beautiful pool, dining room. The standard room has a queen bedroom with mosquito net, a fridge, a cupboard, a drawer, and an outdoor bathroom with 2 showers completed with hot water.

The staff are great, and friendly. They will help you anytime without hesitate!
And the breakfast choices are all YUMMY!
Breakfast Choices from:

Western Style
Two or three eggs any style / BLT / Egg sandwich / Beef cutlet sandwich
+ your choice of fresh fruit juice. Fruit salad. Toasts. Coffee / Tea.

Balinese Style
Nasi Goreng / Mie Goreng / Bubur Ayam
+ your choice of fresh fruit juice. Fruit salad. Coffee / Tea.

Japanese Style
YAKI Sakana: (grilled fish of the day)
Dashimaki: (Japanese egg omelette)
Ohitashi: (sautéed spinach)
Salad
+ your choice of fresh fruit juice. Fruit salad. Coffee / Tea.

We tried every choice and the winner goes to the Japanese Style!
It has very nice presentation and delicious too.
But my fave is the Egg sandwich, yummyyy!

There are two things that I dislike from this Villa, but these are just my opinions that come from habits of showering inside a room :D
So the first thing is the outdoor bathroom. I don't like the concept of taking a shower outside, or doing no.1 or 2 outside. It's not that I'm afraid someone's going to take a peek, but there are many bugs, not to mention it's cold in the night or rain.
The second is, no jet shower in the toilet.
But I guess most small hotels don't provide jet shower in their bathroom.

Overall, me, Iyan and Rory had a great fun in SunnyBlow.
If next time we come to Ubud, we will stay in SunnyBlow again!

Ga berasa sekarang Rory udah 19 bulan!

Nah bln lalu g and hubby bawa Rory ke Jogja. Kebetulan ada sepupu hubby merit, skalian dtg dan tentunya, liburaaaaaan! Kebayangnya tuh bakal repot bgt deh bawa anak kecil keluar kota. Untungnya sih Rory mau makan apa aja, tp yg bikin gemes tuh dia maunya suap sendiriiiii. Yah bagus sih, cuman lamaaa trus berantakan. Kl di rumah sih gpp. Tp kl lg di resto dan makannya ga bisa lama2 jadi gemes.

Untungnya Rory bener2 pinter di sana. Ga nakal dan ga rewel. Dia senang naik becak, andong untuk pertama kalinya. Dan seneng bgt diajak ke pantai untuk pertama kalinya! Awalnya sempet takut dan gamau turun dari gendongan g. Untungnya dia liat sepupunya Dija asik main air sehingga dia jadi penasaran dan mau turun ke pasir. Hasilnya? Gamau pulang! wakkakka.

Selain jalan2 di Jogja, kami juga sempat mengunjungi keluarga di Temanggung, sekitar 3 jam dari Jogja. Rory bener2 seneng main2 ama ayam atau main di mata air yg sejuk bersama sepupu2nya.

Nah berikut adalah persiapan g bawa si imut tp nakal Rory:
* Sering2 ceritakan rencana bepergian beberapa hari sbelum berangkat agar anak antusias dan tidak terlalu kaget saat tiba di tujuan. Hal ini juga bisa membangun antusiasme anak dalam menghadapi situasi atau daerah baru.
* Bawa salah satu mainan/boneka kesayangannya, untuk menenangkan dia kl lg rewel.
* Yg ini saran dr dokter anaknya, kl bayi-nya lg ga enak badan, 30menit sebelum take-off bayi bisa dikasi parasetamol sesuai dosis yg dianjurkan.
* Lebih sabar! Kadang anak suka rewel ketika harus beradaptasi di tempat baru dan melihat org2 baru. Beri dia pengertian dan ceritakan hal2 menyenangkan yg akan dilakukan bersama agar dia tidak bingung.
* Selalu bawa tas kecil yg diisi dgn air minum, cemilan sehat, baju ganti dan popok sekali pakai. Namanya juga anak2, kadang numpahin makanan, nangis trus muntah, atau minta cemilan saat di perjalanan.
* Usahakan agar jadwal tidur siang, tidur malam dan jadwal makannya tidak berubah.
* Jgn lupa survey dulu cuaca dan kondisi daerah yg dituju bbrp hari sebelum berangkat. Jd bisa bawa pakaian anak yg cocok dgn cuaca, agar anak bisa jalan2 dgn nyaman. Kl bisa juga cek googlemap sebelum pergi, spy bisa memperkirakan mau kemana saja dan berapa jauh lokasi2 wisata yg hendak dituju. Hal yg hrs dicari di googlemap misalnya Rumah Sakit/praktek dokter anak yg dekat dgn hotel atau laundry kiloan terdekat.

Jalan2 5 hari di Jogja sukses berat!
Mudah2an thn ini bisa mengunjungi ljubi bersama Rory dan hubby!

I finally design the FloGown that she approved
but in the process, since i'm not a real fashion designer, i made some detail that were impossible or hard to make, so there were some adjustments.

Hola teman-teman

G mau ngenalin teman-teman semua ke Anisa Tegar Insani alias Nisa.
Usianya sekarang 3.5 tahun.

Karena kondisi ekonomi orang tua nya yang sangat kurang, saat hamil ibu dan Nisa dalam kandungan mengalami kekurangan gizi.
Si Ibu dan janinnya jarang bisa dapat makan, kalo pun makan, paling2 makan mie instan.
Pada saat lahir Nisa juga sempat keracunan air ketuban.
Nisa sempat dirawat di RS Cipto selama beberapa minggu.
Namun akibat kekurangan gizi sejak dalam kandungan, pertumbuhan Nisa jadi terhambat.
Di usianya yang 3.5 tahun kini Nisa belum bisa berjalan, bicara dan beratnya cuma 10kg.
Otaknya juga saat diperiksa dibilang dokter jauh lebih kecil dari ukuran otak normal.

Kabar baiknya, menurut para dokter di RS Cipto, masih ada harapan buat Nisa biar bisa kembali sehat, bisa berjalan dan berlari
dan bisa bicara, jadi Nisa pun harus diterapi di RS setiap hari Senin setiap minggu.

Untuk bisa jalan dan lari, Nisa memerlukan sepatu khusus, yang bisa menyangga kakinya yang kurus dan kecil.
Sayangnya sepatu khusus tersebut harganya sangat mahal, apalagi untuk keluarga Nisa. Harganya kurang lebih 1 juta Rupiah,
dan harganya semakin mahal bila kaki Nisa semakin besar.

Ayah Nisa kerjanya serabutan, sedangkan ibu dan nenek Nisa di rumah bergantian mengurus rumah dan mengurus Nisa. Rumahnya
kecillllllll bgt, satu kamar kecil yang ditempati 4 orang plus buat naro kompor, lemari dan perabotan lainnya.
Saking kecil rumahnya, mereka tidurnya harus ganti-gantian,kl tidur bareng2 tempatnya ga cukup! Makannya tiap hari ama
abon dan mie instan.

Nisa sendiri ukuran tubuhnya jauh lebih kecil dari anak seumuran dia. Bayangin aja, baju2 bekas baby g yang umurnya
baru 7 bulan muat loh dipake ama Nisa yang usianya udah 3.5 tahun!!!

So g mau minta bantuan teman2 skalian.
Mari kita bantu Nisa biar bisa terapi terus, dan bisa beli sepatu khusus sehingga bisa berjalan dan berlari.

So one day I opened my drawer and found so many letterset!!!
and they're all fancy and nice. I started to collect fancy letterset since kindergarten. Back then i had so many pen friends so it was just normal if i buy so many fancy letterset. After that i always bought fancy letterset everytime i went to the book store, and ended up to have a big pile of fancy letterset!!!!

And now i don't have any pen friends, thx to e-mail and facebook :P
and the letterset just sat there, looking bored and tired.
I started to think something so i can use them, so they can fulfill their destiny, although it may not be as a letter :D

And OH how i loooove laces :D :D
i started to buy laces, 2m, just for fun, and now i have many unused laces.
and i also have so many drawings that i don't know what to do with them
they just sit quietly in my clear holder
so i did this

This is my original character named Nyla.
She is the spirit of the night and you can sometimes see her in a night with a full moon and the sky filled with stars.

in Festival Mata Air 2009.
We were very excited about this project
so we made tons of items, such as poster series, banner series, pin series, postcard series, t-shirts, mugs and even umbrella (ella ella ella e e e).
Although I couldn't join the team to go to Festival Mata Air in Salatiga cos I was pregnant,
I still had some fun doing this project.

I think this is the greatest horror movie ever!
The actresses and actor are great! My ljubi FloLady fell in love with the awesome, eye-poking flowery eerie house. And the twisted story, the emotion, the answers, everything in it is perfect, even the ghosts! And the music! Oh how me and ljubi loooove the music <3

(imdb: The movie is inspired by a famous Korean folk tale "Janghwa Heungryeonjeon."
In the original story, the sisters' names are Janghwa and Hongryeon (Rose Flower and Red Lotus). In the movie, they are Su-mi and Su-yeon (still mean Rose and Lotus)).

a Lotus inside a bloodless little lady

can you see a lotus in her?

a lotus blooms a wicked beauty

sometimes pale

or just look at a lotus in her!

blooms in the night and fades in a scorched sky

:turns to ashes, dear cloud!

and i wonder about a lotus in her…

dancing around behind the full moon

a lotus covered in a pale thick blood

sell her another dust-she buys you another blood

a blood of her own i guess, it was her lotus anyway

so i’m sure i see a lotus in her, one last time…

The Amaranthine Girl

she sleeps in amaranthine

dies in amaranthine

as the deep red fades to purple

she lingers in aeon

and chooses to run in a perfect circle

chooses not to stop

and keeps running ’till the next ring

then still running

quest for her utopia

she gazes at her amaranthine

a pale look in her eyes tells me something funny;

"if the hero dies and the heroine survives, will she be happy?"

"if the amaranthine stays red, if the amaranthine remains purple, will she be glad?"

"if the circle is broken, will she still be running?"

is it for real? i can’t stay long and the amaranthine girl in her shouldn’t stay too long

i can’t watch her turns into another amaranthine….

i even can’t tell which one is cow and which one is crow!

Everytime My Twin is Here

everytime she’s here -- my twinsister...

means i have to share my bread and butter

i have to share my bed

and always stay up very late

i will have a cough or a fever

or she will bring a cold, stomachache or whatever!

i have to be a heart pink

and we have to eat together, everything

she will be blue stars

and bought a lot of chocolate bars

and i never like chocolate that far!

i have to share my friends with her

and walk all over the town in the summer

means i have to share all of things

my soap, my noodle and even my cousins!

But why am i always sad, when she’s gone?

i always cry and mad and it hurts to my bone

i felt lost and wrong

everytime she walks home alone

and when i came into my room

i realize how it was -- very very gloom!

i know that now i don’t have to share all of my things

my soap, my noodle and even my cousins!

so why i am so sad

and it feels so bad

when i realize that

i can’t stay up and just chat

about our imaginary world

or just share our fever and cold?

can i see her soon?

cos i don’t mind to share my spoon...

can i see her right away?

i promise i will be with her all day

and listen to everything she says...

so can i see her now?

can i hold her now?

and be with her forever?
